Charlotte explicits her desire in letters, though, in Claudia's name, to Mario, as she wants to comfort him. Once Mario returns home, Claudia is pregnant. It becomes clear that Charlotte is responsible for all the written letters that helped him survive in Africa. Charlotte is going to drown herself in the sea not able to struggle her sinnliche sehnsucht any more, but Mario arrives just in time - so romantic...
